Killermans Run

The Killerman's Run wines are designed for earlier drinking, and provide an entry point to the Kilikanoon range. These wines are blended from mostly Estate-owned vineyards in some of South Australia's finest tradional wine growing regions such as Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, Mclaren Vale, as well as exciting newer areas like Baroota near the Spencer Gulf.
Story of the wine Mr Killerman was a well known Clare Valley character known to Mort Mitchell, Kevin’s father and the fatherof many of our finest vineyards. Killerman lived alone, trapping rabbits for food in the wild country behind the Skilly Valley- a real hermit, and since the grape varietal Shiraz or Syrah originated in Hermitage in France, this seemed to be the obvious name for a good honest down-to-earth Aussie Shiraz. Exclusive access to over 1,000 acres of great South Australian group-owned terroir ensures the quality of this multi award winning wine.
